The most annoying one that I had was that if I touched something with, for example, my right arm then I'd have to touch it with my left arm as well.

I usually play League of Legends. I got bored of it recently because I hate playing with randoms but I've got back into it recently. I usually play Akali or Jarvan. I've been playing as Jarvan more though because our team is a bit squishy.

And while some don't consider this a game, I'm 'playing' Muv Luv Alternative. I'm at the end of chapter 6. At least, I hope I am anyway. It's pretty good so far though. I wasn't too keen on the chapter 6 arc but I still enjoyed it. The fight scenes with the mechs weren't too bad.]]>

So, I’m a 17 year old arachnophobic Scorpio from Glasgow, and I found this forum after searching ‘Glasgow Anime’ haha. I love anime and manga, but I’m mostly crazy about video games.

My anime tastes are all over the place, for example I love detailed characters/stories like the ones in Ano Hana or Madoka Magica; but I also like really simplistic stories, or even slice of life like Ore Imouto or K-On! Then there are things that everyone likes such as Baccano, Ghost in the Shell, or Highschool of the Dead and Cowboy Bebop. My favourite anime series’ are Bake/Nisemonogatari, Mirai Nikki, FLCL, and Kaiba.

In terms of movies, I like Paprika, Kara no Kyoukai, and that one Layton movie that I hoped would spawn a series. Of course I like Studio Ghibli, but that’s sort of a given. I also really like Disney’s animated movies.

My main hobby/interest is probably video games or drawing – my Deviantart account is http://www.vientown.deviantart.com, but you’ll only really find older stuff there. As far as video games go I own every console with games currently in production (except a vita) and a bunch of older consoles too. My favourite game series’ are Pokemon, Zelda, SMT, Touhou and a lot of other things that don’t come to mind. Independent games that I like are Yume Nikki (and .flow), Katawa Shoujo and other things like that. My all time favourite games are probably Catherine, Persona 4 and Space Channel 5 (Parts 1+2).

Such a shame that I can’t really remember a lot of the things that I like when I’m asked to call them to mind!

In regards to music, I mostly like English or Korean music, except Vocaloids. I really love Gumi and a few others, but I’m always sort of ashamed to bring them up due to the overall ‘quality’ of the fanbase – and the same for another interest of mine...Homestuck.

I don’t really love manga, but I do love Junji Ito’s work, a lot.

So yeah, sorry about this huge and elaborate introduction.

Rules for this theme are that my collection is off limits as well as my say in any choice. The guests have the power to bring what they want and show it. I'll also take advanced requests for anime to be "obtained" for the meet and I'll see what I can do.

Was thinking afternoon meet since it's a Saturday so just post the best time for you all and I'll set something appropriate.

So this section is for those who don't know what an AVM is (since the discussion thread isn't up yet). For an AVM we gather (typically at the same place as the Saturday meet, under the big clock at Central station) and go to a residence to watch anime (since we don't have entertainment centres like in South Korea). These either happen at weekends or holidays primarily for convenience. Typically fluid sustinance and sum snacks are provided but there ain't no free meal.

All GA rules are in effect during these meets, see link here
